Bulldogs News · Track and Field: The Bulldogs send 9 athletes to Regional Meet; Girls send largest class

Congratulations to all our Bulldog Track and Field athletes who competed in the District Meet this week and best of luck to our Regional Qualifiers. For the Lady Bulldogs, this year represents one of the largest classes of athletes to qualify for the Regionals. 2018 Regional Qualifiers:

Pole Vaulters: Congratulations to Pole Vaulters, Alex Dodd and Connor McClure as they advanced to Regionals. Senior Alex Dodd (Federal League Champion 2018) won the District Meet with a vault of 14’00” and Freshman Connor McClure grabbed the final qualifying spot with a vault of 12’06”.

4×800 Meter Relay: The Lady Bulldog 4×800 relay team returns to the Regional Meet after finishing 4th place on Wednesday with a time of 9:45.82. Congratulations to Kendall Anenson, Elise Hooker, Leigha Hall and Kaleigh Renninger on a great run!

100 and 200 Meter Dash: Sophomore, Zoe Dellassera (Federal League Champion 100m), finished 3rd in the 100m dash (12.84) and 4th in the 200m dash (26.75) to secure her place at Regionals.

800 Meter Run: Federal League Champion Kendall Anenson finished 4th (2:22.15) at Districts and stamped her place to Austintown next week.

100 and 300 meter hurdles: Senior, Kimberly Kramer returns to the Regional meet in both hurdle events after finishing 2nd in the 100m/300m hurdles. Kramer was also the Federal Champion is both events and is no stranger to the Regional meet. She is looking to secure her 1st state qualification in her already decorated career at Green.

Discus: Sophomore, Faith Estes finished 3rd at Districts with a throw of 118-04 and qualifies for her 1st Regional meet.
