Green Bulldogs Varsity put up ten runs in the third on its way to a 14-2 victory over McKinley on Friday. Green Bulldogs Varsity batters contributing to the big inning included Emily Andrego, Kami Helm, Liberty Torres, Beth Rickman, Grace Randall, and Campbell Collinsworth, all driving in runs in the inning.

Green Bulldogs Varsity scored ten runs in the third inning. Green Bulldogs Varsity big bats were led by Andrego, Helm, Torres, Rickman, Randall, and Collinsworth, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Torres took the win for Green Bulldogs Varsity. She lasted four and two-thirds innings, allowing one hit and two runs while striking out seven. Grace Hammer threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Madison McCartney took the loss for McKinley. She lasted four innings, allowing 16 hits and 14 runs.

Smith and Rickman all had three hits to lead Green Bulldogs Varsity. Green Bulldogs Varsity was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Randall made the most plays with seven. Green Bulldogs Varsity tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Rickman led the way with two.

Destiny Baumgardner led McKinley with one hit in one at bats.
