Green Bulldogs Varsity defeated GlenOak 5-2 on Monday after taking the lead late in the game. In the sixth a lead off single by Brooke Agosta, followed up by a double by Grace Randall scoring Agosta. A single by Campbell Collinsworth followed by another single by Emily Andrego scores courtesy runner Grace Hammer. The game was now tied at two when Green Bulldogs Varsity’s Kelly Daugherty singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.

GlenOak got things started in the first inning. Grimm singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

Liberty Torres was the winning pitcher for Green Bulldogs Varsity. She lasted seven innings, allowing six hits and two runs while striking out three and walking one.

Otani took the loss for GlenOak. She surrendered five runs on seven hits over six innings, striking out eight and walking one.

Green Bulldogs Varsity tallied nine hits on the day. Daugherty, Campbell Collinsworth, and Emily Andrego each managed multiple hits for Green Bulldogs Varsity. Andrego, Collinsworth, and Daugherty each managed two hits to lead Green Bulldogs Varsity.

Grimm went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead GlenOak in hits. GlenOak didn’t commit a single error in the field. Grimm had the most chances in the field with eight.
